Anti-Bullying Week

This year, Anti-Bullying Week will be celebrated from the 10th-14th November 2025. Many schools use this week to shine a light on bullying, and a drama workshop is the perfect way to explore a difficult topic in a safe and supportive environment.

The theme for Anti-Bullying Week this year is ‘Choose Respect’, and children will have an opportunity to explore why this message is so important in an interactive drama workshop. Workshops investigate what bullying can look like, the impact it can have on people, and how to deal with a bullying situation.

I am offering two Anti-Bullying Week workshops this year:

Giraffe is Left Out, by Sue Graves (EYFS and KS1) when Leopard joins Jungle School, Giraffe does not want to try to be his friend. But when Giraffe’s choices mean he is left out of a party, he begins to understand why including others is so important. By bringing the animals of jungle school to life, this workshop celebrates the fact that even though we are all different, we are all special!

Beat Bullying (KS2) This workshop explores how we can identify bullying, and the different ways in which bullying can present itself. Children will use role play, hot seating and other drama techniques to put themselves in the shoes of a victim, a bully, and even a bystander. They will be encouraged to empathise with different points of view, and identify positive responses to difficult situations

The children really enjoyed your workshop, and the pace was perfect for them! They have been talking about the Victorian seaside all day!
