International Women’s Day is celebrated on the 8th March 2025. For many years, women did not had the same rights and opportunities as men, and this is sadly still the case in some parts of the world.
My ‘Girl Power!’ workshops are suitable for KS2 (KS1 upon request) and allow children to learn about the lives of amazing women who had to fight to make their voices heard. We will explore what it would feel like to be treated differently based on gender, and discuss why International Women’s Day is still important today.

“The children really enjoyed your workshop, and the pace was perfect for them! They have been talking about the Victorian seaside all day!“
