Secondary School Transition

As your Year Six students enter their final few weeks of primary school, there can be a lot of feelings to process. While some children can feel like they have outgrown primary school, others can feel anxious and overwhelmed about the move to secondary school.

Secondary School Transition workshops explore the emotions and concerns that can be associated with moving to a new school. It is designed to help children share and address these concerns in a safe and supportive environment, as well as celebrating all the positive things to come! Children will share their own ideas and thoughts about the transition process, and we will work through them in a fun and enjoyable way. We will use a variety of inclusive drama activities to leave children feeling confident and more prepared about moving to a new school.

Secondary School Transition workshops are available throughout the summer term, for Year Six Pupils only
